Training Dates

Our prospective instructors are invited to attend an nine day training. During this training, they are taught wilderness skills, such as bow drill fires, camp set up and tear down, hiking and backpacking as well as therapeutic and communication skills. They are also informed of the rules and regulations as well as the philosophy of RedCliff Ascent. Going through the nine day training does not automatically guarantee that they are hired as field instructors. We hope that everyone that is invited to training continues on to work as a field instructor. The training is not paid, however there is a $200 signing bonus issued upon the completion of the internship. If invited to the training and offered the position, you will be expected to start employment immediately. Please keep this in mind when applying for a training date.
